On our way to Page, Arizona we drove by a sign pointing to a state park with coral pink sand dunes. We decided to check them out and drove about 13 miles down a remote road until we reached the dunes. The sun was setting fast so I quickly walked about 1/2 mile out into the dunes to take some photos before the light disappeared. The dunes were surrounded by colorful cliffs and made for a nice scene. As we got back to the car the sun dipped below the horizon. Had we arrived about 15 minutes later than we did we would have missed it.
