We flew to Las Vegas as a starting point for a road trip to Utah and Arizona. From Las Vegas we headed north towards Zion National Park in Utah. Along the way we stopped in an area called the “Valley of Fire”. In this park there are huge red sandstone formations with unusual shapes. We drove around for about an hour stopping now and then to take some photos. One of the places we stopped had a rock in the shape of an elephant. There was another rock shaped like a poodle, but we never found it.
